Summary
We are looking for a leader with excellent strategic, operational and influencing skills to build on our profile as the brand leader in relationship counselling and deliver new and improved services to individuals, couples and families.
Job Role
Relate Cymru is a national charity specialising in relationship support for individuals, couples and families. Our vision is a future in which healthy relationships form the heart of a thriving society in Wales.
A determined effort to build partnerships, increase our income and raise our profile has enabled us to expand our services which now benefit 4000 adults and 5000 children and young people a year.
Aware of how much still needs to be done to tackle the country’s high level of family breakdown with its human and financial cost and knowing the strong correlation between healthy personal relationships and better outcomes for adults and children, we have ambitious plans.
Our opportunity
We can offer you the opportunity to help us to achieve our aims and ensure:
- That everyone in Wales has equitable access to a range of support to make their relationships work better
- That we deliver our services in people’s language of choice and with cultural sensitivity
- That the organisation is managed efficiently and is continuously improving
- That we increase understanding of the benefits of secure relationships and of our work among the public and professionals
- That we influence policymakers and service commissioners.
Your contribution
We expect you to be:
- A leader of vision who can inspire others to achieve great things
- An organised and efficient manager of people and resources
- Skilled in maximising partnerships, influencing key players and in attracting sustainable funding.
